Buck Knives Collecting - Your Guide

Collecting Buck Knives is one of the oldest hobbies around when it comes to collecting knives at all. Buck Knives Company has been around for a very long time and many of their products are very valuable today. If you are planning on a start in knife collecting, this is a great route to go.

Buck knives do appreciate in value. It isn’t like investing in gold or the stock market, but you can gain some increased value by purchasing a few and hanging on to them for awhile. However, the biggest payoff for me and many folks is to just display them and show them off.

How do I display them and show them off? Well, there are many ways to go about displaying your Buck knives. I have a couple of preferred methods that I use but I have to be straight with you here. This is no way I could display every Buck knife I have. I simply do not have the wall space. So, I have a little rotation system that is simple. When I want a change in the décor of my room, I rotate the knives around and send the old displays into storage for awhile.

My favorite display system is a simple military medals shadow box. The shadow box makes a great Buck knives display and can even be modified to hold a small lamp to brighten up the display. These shadow boxes are relatively cheap and can be found in some of your large hobby stores or even at the general department stores for five or ten dollars.

I simply arrange the shadow boxes along each wall in two rows to show off my Buck knives. I have one entire wall of Buck knives and the other walls are for the other manufactured knife brands that I collect.

That’s about all there is to it. Simply show those knives off and be proud of them. That’s what Buck knives collecting is all about.
